Australian Monitor IN600 System Controller; Versatile and Cost Effective AV Control.
The integration of audio visual sources, projector control and automated projection screens in board rooms, meeting rooms and lecture theatres has traditionally required the use of a number of pieces of equipment; and then the addition of a third party control system to get the system to work together with a simple and intuitive manner, and offer a control surface for the end user. This has usually meant a significant additional cost increase to the installation for both the equipment used and for the programming and integration of the AV system.
The Innovation series IN600 from Australian Monitor is designed for these small to medium size AV installations. It provides an amazing range of features such as a four input mic/line mixer, 6 input AV switcher composite and VGA video outputs and 6 balanced XLR audio outputs so the IN600 can be configured as a 5.1 front end if required. Add to this the flexibility of on board RS232 control for projector management and logic output for screen up/down and you have a comprehensive AV system control front end that will control AV sources, microphones; allow projector and screen control in a device that is extremely cost effective.
So how can the IN600 offer simple and intuitive command of a complex AV system to the end user without the expense of adding a Crestron or other third party control system? Well now the IN600 will integrate seamlessly with the ICON CP control Panels from our Revolution series. The ICON CP control panels are available in either black or white, have a sleek, modern design and offer two way communication and control over the IN600. Connecting via CAT5 cable and utilizing a power over Ethernet power supply, you can have remote control of AV source selection and source volume, Projector on/off, Mic On/off for each mic/line input and Mic/Line volume. All this control is now available from the ICON CP with LED indication of selected source or mic and LED indication of volumes.
Please note that 2 panels are required for all functionality to be remotely available. But this gives your end user all the functionality that they need for a fraction of the cost of a third party control system.
